The bomber jacket, a signature piece

Some pieces become iconic over time.
Others make an impact from their creation.
The MAZALET bomber is one of them.
From the first prototypes, it was clear. Not only because of the
time required for its creation, but above all because it encapsulates the entire
philosophy of the house.
Every detail has a reason for being. The most symbolic is found at the very heart
of the garment.

 

The MAZALET logo is deliberately placed at the central closure. When
the bomber is open, the logo is separated into two. When it is closed, it regains its
unity. This detail perfectly illustrates MAZALET's vision: what appears separated can
find its balance when reunited.
This piece is entirely made in Paris. Every step of its manufacturing is
done by hand, from cutting the different leather pieces to their
assembly.

 

The leather used is genuine calf leather sourced directly from one of the most
prestigious Italian houses specializing in this material. All other
components are selected and manufactured in France.
Before arriving at this final version, another direction had nevertheless been
considered. The initial idea was to develop this piece in a very high-quality faux leather.
Despite weeks of development, the result did not provide
the desired emotion. The decision was therefore made to start entirely from scratch in order to
select a natural calf leather that fully corresponded to MAZALET's vision.

 

Its touch has become exceptionally soft. Its suppleness is surprising from the
first moments, and its weight, much lighter than what one usually imagines
for a leather bomber, allows it to be worn easily through the seasons.
The bomber is available in two color combinations: black and white, as well as
khaki and white. These choices reflect a desire to create a timeless piece, easy
to pair and capable of transcending seasons without losing its elegance.
Like all MAZALET creations, it is entirely unisex. Its oversized cut
allows everyone to appropriate it freely.

 

Through photo shoots, fittings, and presentations, one observation quickly
returned: eyes naturally gravitate towards this bomber. Then comes the desire to touch it,
to try it on, and very often the same reaction: surprise, as its softness,
lightness, and comfort leave a lasting impression.
Today, this piece has become MAZALET's signature. It embodies
everything that defines the house: demanding French manufacturing, exceptional materials,
artisanal savoir-faire, a confident unisex vision, and the conviction
that no compromise should be accepted when it comes to creating a piece destined to
stand the test of time.
